Precious Violet is so cute and gentle with a big personality. She loves playing with Mildred and chasing the older dogs. She attended very few shows as a minor puppy but won exceedingly well when she was shown. We are delighted with the results.

Best Minor Puppy In Show at Cheshire Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show under Ifor Williams.
Best Minor Puppy In Show and Best Puppy In Show at Yorkshire Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show under Heather Gibson.
Best Puppy In Breed at Newcastle (Staffs) Open Show under Ian Hillier, then Puppy Group 1 under Mrs. S. Leslie followed by Reserve Best Puppy In Show under Mr. S. Barrett.

The ‘icing on the cake’ was at The Cocker Spaniel Club Of Scotland Championship Show where Violet was first in Minor Puppy Bitch and awarded Best Puppy Bitch under Tricia Bentley. She was then declared Best Puppy In Show with the agreement of the dog judge, Les Chambers.

Violet moved into the adult classes at The Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show which is a major event of the show season where there are many overseas visitors and the classes are well stocked. We were over the moon when she won both the Solid Novice and Maiden classes under Mike Masters.

On one of the hottest days of the year, we picnicked with good friends at Britannia Leek Agricultural Show. Violet won Junior and was Best Of Breed under June Henderson. This gave her the final point for Junior Warrant.

The following weekend, we went to National Gundog Championship Show under Judith Craig where Violet was awarded first places in both Maiden and Novice.

Next came three thirds in Junior - City Of Birmingham Championship Show under Sarah Amos-Jones, Darlington Championship Show under Christopher Laverty and Driffield Championship Show under Leslie Forfar.

We thoroughly enjoy the Breed Open Shows as well and so went to Cheshire Cocker where Violet was first in Solid Junior.

The following weekend, we made the winding trip to Builth Wells for South Wales Kennel Association Championship show under Jean Lanning where Violet had second place in Junior.

We would like to thank the Judges for their valued opinions. We are very appreciative of Violet's awards and treasure the lovely moments.

We have shown Violet comparatively lightly but she looks forward to taking time off from playing out (and getting muddy!) with our other dogs to attend some more Shows.
